Hello,
Lovely to meet you!

I am Faye -

Ayurvedic Lifestyle & Nutrition Consultant, and the founder of The Root of Wellbeing

My journey into Ayurveda began after I healed from complex chronic illness that severely impacted my life for more than a decade. This profound experience sparked my fascination for natural healing, leading me to explore holistic methods to help me to heal against the odds. My intuition guided me and I understood that food can be medicine, and a holistic approach is key.  My curiosity to learn more about my new found passion for a traditional natural approach to wellbeing led me to retrain in complementary medicine, choosing Ayurveda as it is a complete science of life which addresses body, mind and soul.

As a former nurse, I originally began my medical training at St Bartholomew’s Teaching Hospital in London and progressed to become a Lead Specialist Nurse at a highly prestigious central London hospital. Today, I blend my knowledge of modern Western science with traditional  Eastern Wisdom to create a balanced, whole person centred approach to wellbeing.

I offer a gentle, compassionate approach to support your unique path towards optimal health by addressing the root cause naturally. My own experience with chronic health challenges taught me deeper compassion for myself, and for others. This understanding continues to guide how I support you on your wellbeing journey. I know first-hand how difficult it can be. My hope is to inspire and support you with care, understanding, and respect for your needs and your unique experience.

With experience as a coach and working with the globally recognised therapist Marisa Peer, I know how positive mindset and living in alignment creates a ripple effect transforming not only your life but also the lives of those around you. To lead by example, I do my best to live according to what I know is beneficial for my continued wellbeing and respects my constitution. I take time to nourish myself with practices that nurture my soul helping me to stay grounded and balanced. I have never felt so energised, vibrant and creative. I feel deeply connected to nature and more in tune with my body and mind. Through my work, I teach you to become aware of your unique needs, helping you discover greater harmony and happiness.

When I am not sharing my passion of Ayurveda and supporting others, I love spending time outdoors exploring the countryside, growing herbs and vegetables, travelling, and getting creative in the kitchen. I’m known for my intuitive, wholesome dishes, often inspired by Eastern flavours. I love dance and music and gentle yoga.

In the new year, I returned from a month-long stay in Sri Lanka to deepen my knowledge of Ayurveda. I lived with locals, and amongst many incredible experiences, I explored the spice regions to connect with the herbal remedies that I use in my practice. I went solo backpacking for a week to discover where and how familiar kitchen cupboard spices grow. I’m excited to bring this wisdom to my one to one consultations and workshops to help you to unlock the benefits of this ancient science of life.

I'm here to gently support and inspire you, honouring your unique journey as you uncover inner harmony. I understand that restoring our health takes time and courage. Whenever you are ready, I will be here to connect and explore how I can support you.
